Job Description: The sales officer/assistant sales manager will be responsible for channel sales and sales operations. The role entails managing and growing sales channels, ensuring smooth sales operations, and fostering dealer relationships. Role & responsibilities * Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with the dealers. * Expanding the dealer network by explaining the company products and encouraging purchases. * Answering dealers' questions and escalating complex issues to the relevant departments as needed. * Developing in-depth knowledge of company products. * Maintaining an accurate record of all sales, scheduled customer & dealer appointments, and customer complaints. * Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure that the company is reaching its target audience. * Informing product developers of possible product improvements and changes to ensure that company products meet current market needs. * Analyzing competitors' products to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and market success. Preferred candidate profile * Graduate in any discipline. * MBA in Marketing preferred. * Minimum 5 to to10 years experience in field sales. * Proven sales experience and achieving sales targets. * Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills. * Effective communication skills. * Preferred industry: sleep products such as mattress segments, furniture, furnishings, or any other consumer durables.
