Job Type: Full-Time Reports to: Regional Manager / District Manager Job Summary The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's day-to-day operations. This includes leading and developing the store team, ensuring outstanding customer service, managing inventory, driving sales, and achieving financial goals. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a strong business acumen, a passion for retail, and a proven track record of success in a management role. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of store associates. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management to all team members. Create a positive, motivating, and collaborative work environment. Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal store coverage and adherence to labor budgets. Sales & Financial Performance: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, improve profitability, and achieve store targets. Analyze sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for growth. Manage the store's budget, including labor, supplies, and other operational expenses. Ensure all cash handling and banking procedures are followed accurately and securely. Store Operations: Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock control to minimize shrinkage. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Guarantee the safety and security of all customers and employees by adhering to health and safety standards. Customer Experience: Lead by example to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for every customer. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally. Build a loyal customer base by fostering strong community relationships. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail management role (e.g., Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager). Proven experience in leading, motivating, and developing a team. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and profitability targets. Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong financial and business acumen. Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
