Caregiver/Caretaker Job Responsibilities:Assists the patient or elderly person with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals in accordance with the specific service plan. Allows and encourages patients and the elderly to perform as much of their own care as feasible. Serves meals to patients or the elderly in the dining room or apartments, and may assist with meal preparation using preplanned menus.
