The Brand Strategist, Communications & PR Associate position at Aprajita Toor Luxury Footwear in Chembur, Mumbai is a full-time on-site role that involves overseeing the strategic development of the brand's identity, voice, and global presence. In this role, you will be responsible for combining brand management with high-level communications and PR strategy to ensure that the brand resonates with discerning audiences, maintains its prestige, and cultivates meaningful connections across luxury media, influencers, and cultural spheres. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in defining and evolving the brand's core identity, tone of voice, and value proposition. You will be translating seasonal creative direction into strategic storytelling for collections, launches, and collaborations while maintaining consistency of brand messaging across all consumer-facing platforms such as social media, website, press, and retail. Additionally, you will support long-term positioning strategies to enhance the brand's equity in the luxury fashion space. As the Brand Strategist, you will be drafting compelling narratives, founder notes, press kits, brand bios, campaign messaging, and launch announcements. It will be crucial to align all communication assets with the brand tone, which is elegant, aspirational, and rooted in craftsmanship. Collaboration with the creative and marketing teams to develop editorial themes and digital content directions will also be a part of your role. You will be responsible for liaising with fashion editors, stylists, journalists, and PR agencies to drive consistent and premium brand visibility. Managing press outreach for product launches, brand announcements, and founder interviews will be essential. Monitoring media placements, compiling coverage reports, and nurturing relationships with top-tier fashion and luxury publications will also be part of your responsibilities. Identifying and managing relationships with fashion influencers, cultural tastemakers, and celebrity stylists will be key. Leading influencer gifting, product seeding, and high-visibility placements, as well as tracking and evaluating partnership performance and alignment with brand identity, will be crucial aspects of your role. Your role will also involve working with cross-functional teams to strategize and execute integrated marketing campaigns. Supporting the planning of campaign rollouts, ensuring all campaigns resonate with the brand's luxury sensibility and customer aspirations, and assisting in planning and executing brand activations will be key responsibilities. You will be expected to act as a brand guardian across internal teams, ensuring messaging and positioning are upheld in design, product, digital, and retail. Developing internal decks and updates to align teams around campaigns and brand moments will also be part of your role. Tracking PR and media performance, influencer metrics, brand sentiment, and campaign effectiveness, as well as maintaining brand archives, media databases, and communication calendars, will be essential tasks. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2-4 years of experience in brand strategy, PR, communications, or marketing, preferably in fashion or lifestyle. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling, a strong understanding of luxury positioning, fashion media, and influencer ecosystems, aesthetic sensibility, attention to tone, mood, and design, proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, Canva, and Adobe Suite (a plus), as well as being highly organized, proactive, and collaborative with a strategic mindset are required qualifications and skills.
