We are seeking an experienced Storage Administrator to manage and support enterprise storage systems and backup solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAN infrastructure, storage virtualization, and backup technologies, especially with Commvault. This role demands proactive system monitoring, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, integrity, and security. Key Responsibilities: Manage, configure, and monitor enterprise storage systems including NetApp , Pure Storage , Dell , and HP arrays. Administer SAN infrastructure , including Fibre Channel and iSCSI protocols, zoning, LUN masking, and storage provisioning. Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions using Commvault , ensuring adherence to data protection policies. Conduct regular backup validation , restore testing , and troubleshoot backup or storage issues. Collaborate with IT teams for capacity planning , performance tuning , and disaster recovery strategies. Document storage architectures, procedures, configurations, and incident reports. Respond to and resolve storage and backup-related incidents and service requests promptly. Stay updated with the latest trends in storage and backup technologies ; recommend improvements or upgrades. Ensure compliance with security policies and data retention requirements . Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise storage administration and backup management. Hands-on expertise with NetApp , Pure Storage , and HP storage platforms. Proficient in SAN administration and related technologies ( Fibre Channel , iSCSI ). Strong working knowledge of Commvault or similar backup tools. In-depth understanding of storage protocols , RAID levels , LUN management , and snapshot technologies. Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software storage issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple IT teams. Position Title: L3 Storage Administrator Key Responsibilities: Storage Technology Customization & Configuration: Proficient in the customization and configuration of storage technologies (IBM & NetApp), including architecture design and Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations. Brocade SAN Switch Management: Extensive knowledge of Brocade SAN Switches, including zoning, Inter-Switch Link (ISL), SAN switch troubleshooting, and performance optimization. NetApp Storage Expertise: Strong working knowledge of NetApp Storage Arrays, with a focus on installation, configuration, and ongoing management. NAS Expertise: Solid understanding of Network-Attached Storage (NAS) solutions, ensuring efficient storage and data management. LUN Management: Oversee the creation, configuration, and management of Logical Unit Numbers (LUNs) on storage arrays, ensuring optimal storage allocation. Storage Performance Optimization: Regularly analyze and optimize storage performance to minimize downtime, improve access times, and ensure fast, efficient data retrieval. Capacity Planning & Upgrades: Monitor storage utilization, plan for future storage requirements, and recommend/implement upgrades as necessary to accommodate growing data needs. Skills & Qualifications: Proven expertise in IBM and NetApp storage systems and related technologies. Experience with Brocade SAN switches and SAN switch troubleshooting. Strong understanding of LUN management and NAS systems. Excellent problem-solving skills for storage performance and troubleshooting. Ability to plan, manage, and optimize storage infrastructure effectively. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in storage technologies and a proactive approach to maintaining and optimizing storage environments.
