Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Car Painter to join our automotive repair and refinishing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring a high-quality finish that meets both industry standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask vehicle surfaces to prepare for painting. Paint Mixing: Mix paints to match vehicle color specifications using color charts and mixing equipment. Application: Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns and other painting equipment. Finishing Touches: Inspect painted surfaces for quality, perform touch-ups, and polish as necessary. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools to ensure longevity and performance. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials. Documentation: Maintain records of paint jobs, materials used, and time taken for each task.
