As a Performance Marketing Manager in the Skincare & D2C industry based in Chennai, India, you will be an integral part of a fast-growing D2C skincare brand that focuses on enhancing the self-care experience for conscious consumers. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage your expertise in scaling paid campaigns for skincare or beauty brands to drive measurable growth through data-driven strategies. Your key responsibilities will include planning, executing, and optimizing high-performing paid campaigns across various channels such as Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, and Programmatic. You will be tasked with optimizing campaigns for metrics like CAC, ROAS, LTV, and conversion rates throughout the customer journey. Additionally, you will collaborate on ad creatives, user-generated content concepts, videos, and landing page testing to maximize campaign performance. Analyzing campaign data to extract actionable insights and growth strategies will be a crucial part of your role. You will conduct A/B tests on audiences, creatives, placements, and offers to refine campaign performance continuously. Managing and tracking monthly ad budgets efficiently to ensure strong returns will also be part of your responsibilities. It will be essential for you to stay updated on performance trends in the skincare and beauty space and implement best practices in your campaigns. Collaborating with content, design, and CRM teams to align performance campaigns with product launches, promotions, and customer retention efforts will be key to your success. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing for D2C skincare, beauty, or personal care brands. A proven track record of managing large paid media budgets with consistent positive ROAS is required. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GA4, GTM, Hotjar, Looker Studio, and Klaviyo (or similar) will be necessary. Experience with eCommerce funnels, retargeting strategies, and scaling new customer acquisition will be advantageous. A creative mindset to test and iterate messaging and visual hooks tailored to skincare audiences is essential. Excellent communication and reporting skills are a must for effective coordination with internal teams. If you have familiarity with influencer campaigns or user-generated content sourcing for skincare brands, it will be considered a bonus.
