As a Manufacturing Engineer, your role involves direct area kaizen to improve capacity by reducing BCT, implementing efficient manufacturing systems, and reducing costs while upholding operational standards. You will also be responsible for Basic Motion Kaizen tasks such as time study, motion analysis, and method study. Additionally, you will work on layout kaizen to design cost-effective manufacturing layouts and ensure ergonomic building for new product lines. Moreover, you will engage in industry benchmarking to stay updated on best practices in manufacturing methods, technology trends, and equipment developments to maintain the organization's competitive edge. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting Standard Work Kaizen to identify problems, assess deviations from manufacturing standards, and utilize E.C.R.S. tools effectively. - Implementing methods and modifications in indirect areas to reduce indirect labor costs using SWCT techniques. - Understanding and applying VSM, Flow kaizen, L/T calculation, and inventory reduction techniques for throughout plant kaizen. - Participating in well-born line kaizen activities like cardboard simulation, MOST analysis, low-cost automation projects, and working collaboratively in CFT. - Gaining exposure to supplier improvement activities to enhance output and delivery processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, AutoCAD, and other related software applications. - Utilizing energetic, analytical, and problem-solving skills effectively in day-to-day operations. - Preferable exposure to fin press, heat exchanger equipment, tube processing equipment, sheet metal equipment, and assembly lines. - Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems, including capex, routing, and PLM.
