Designation - Senior Payroll Specialist Location - Chennai (Guindy-IE) **Work from Office** Immediate Joiners Preferred JOB RESPONSIBILITY End-to-End Payroll Management: Process payroll for all employees on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and bonus payments. Compliance and Statutory Filings: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations. This includes managing and filing statutory deductions like TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), EPF, ESI, and other government-mandated remittance. Expense Reimbursement: Oversee the timely and accurate processing of employee expense reports and reimbursements in line with company policy. Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external payroll audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth and successful audit process. Reconciliation and Reporting: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reconciliations. Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and finance teams. Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any payroll-related queries or discrepancies from employees in a professional and timely manner. System Management: Maintain and update the payroll system with current employee data and tax information. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
