Role & responsibilities Primary Job Responsibilities To control all shop floor activities i.e receipt / inprocess / final inspection. To co-ordinate with concern department & plan QA activities to meet organisation targets. Involvement in development parts, Participating in regular staff meetings to discuss quality issues and concerns Conducting training sessions on quality control methods and techniques to ensure that all employees are familiar with best practices Ensuring processes to avoid rew-rejection, Ensuring effectiveness of daily CAP initiated to minimise NCRs, Ensuring effectiveness of CAP initiated against customer NCRs, To ensure identification & traceability of material inprocess as per process sheet & defined in quality system. To ensure proper condition & calibration status of measuring instruments being used on shop floor To ensure records are being maintained as per quality system. To optimise the inspection methods by means of new gauges, instruments, fixtures, softwares etc. To Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement To verify painting process, air hydro testing done as per requirements/ WI, To monitor & control NDT testing done on shop floor & ensure proper recording of it. Knowledge & Abilities Good knowledge of QMS, IMS system Good knowledge & Qualification in NDT - LP,MPI,RT,VT Good knowledge of manufacturing processes Good knowledge of Pump as product Good Knowledge of Motors & accessories used Pump Experience Needed 8-10+ Experience in field of manufacturing in Pump industry Soft Skills & Proficiency Level Leadership - Intermediate Managing Team - Intermediate Technical competency- Intermediate Decision making- Intermediate Critical thinking & problem solving - Intermediate Preferred candidate profile Perks and benefits
