As a Software Developer within our team, you will play a crucial role in various project phases from inception to release planning. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, proposing suitable methodologies and technologies, and contributing to the agile development culture within the team. You will need to stay abreast of the latest trends in software development, especially focusing on the Low-Code/No-Code space. Your primary task will be to comprehend project requirements thoroughly, provided by stakeholders, and translate them into well-designed and implemented application features using the Mendix platform. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based solutions and applications within the Mendix environment. Additionally, you will evaluate opportunities for re-use from existing applications and enhance functionality and efficiency by updating and adding new features. Documentation plays a vital role in our projects, hence you will be required to draft comprehensive documentation that clearly represents the application's design, functionality, and deployment process. Ensuring the stability and performance of developed applications through maintenance and continuous improvement will be under your ownership. Collaboration is key in our cross-functional, international development team. Your expertise and insights will contribute significantly to the team's success. You will apply and advocate for robust testing methodologies to guarantee the delivery of high-quality and reliable code within the Mendix environment. **Required Skills:** - 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience using a Low-Code/No-Code platform, with a focus on Mendix. - Proficiency in Mendix development tools such as the Mendix Modeler, microflows, nanoflows, domain model, security configuration, and UI/UX development. - Experience in integrating REST and SOAP services within Mendix. - Strong working knowledge of web browsers and relevant technologies. - Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, new product development, and agile methodologies. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with other Low-Code/No-Code platforms alongside Mendix. - Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience in performance optimization within the Mendix platform. - Familiarity with testing frameworks suitable for Mendix applications.
