The role of Associate Cybersecurity Analyst (Network Security Analyst) based in Bangalore, KA, presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the cybersecurity operations by monitoring, analyzing, and resolving network security incidents across on-premises and cloud environments. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for managing technical support requests, prioritizing escalations, and ensuring the uptime of applications while enhancing the overall computing experience through effective maintenance and problem resolution activities. To excel in this role, you must possess a deep understanding of how logical and physical connectivity issues impact network and systems security posture, as well as transaction quality. This hybrid position allows you to alternate between remote work and office presence, with an expectation of working in the office 2-3 set days a week. Shift work is involved with 9-hour shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM to ensure coverage throughout the year. Key responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and resolving network and cloud security incidents, troubleshooting configuration issues on various platforms like firewalls, proxies, and host-based security controls, and following established Service Level Agreements (SLA) for timely responses. You will also be expected to support and uphold cybersecurity operation standards, drive continuous improvement in core functions, and track and resolve incidents and changes systematically. Additionally, the role entails staying updated with new technical skills through training, modifying and creating work instructions for efficient incident response, articulating problem statements clearly, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. A minimum of 3 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of experience is required, along with expertise in network monitoring concepts, management tools, and cybersecurity frameworks.
