You will be working at India's largest amusement park and water park located in Bangalore Park. The work schedule is for 5 days a week with the first and third Saturdays working. Staff quarters are available at a minimal cost for employees. Currently, there are 2-3 Team Leads, with the expectation of increasing to 4-5 eventually. Your responsibilities will include expanding and growing the product line to include special items and drive significant growth in non-ticket revenue. You will need to incorporate innovative ideas from the Marketing Team into merchandise collection strategies and develop a seasonal and core product mix that caters to demographic diversity. Creating and maintaining product development calendars for branded apparel, toys, and other merchandise will be crucial to ensure timely product launches. Collaborating with the Creative team or agency to design and curate a unique line of apparel and merchandise is also part of the role. Managing the entire product lifecycle, from planning and buying merchandise to product placement and sales strategies across all parks, will be essential. Analyzing the profitability of products and adjusting future offerings accordingly is a key aspect of the role. You will also need to consolidate product needs from all parks to develop product design requests for design partners to meet the requirements of all businesses. Implementing visual plans for displaying products online and at retail stores, driving sales, controlling costs, organizing promotions, and improving retail outlet performance will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all design and development activities are carried out within the budget and align with market demands and business strategy. Maximizing revenue opportunities and delivering a unique and memorable customer experience will be critical. Key skills required for this role include Category Management, Product Development, Buying and Merchandising, Forecasting & Planning, International Sourcing, Brand Management, Retail Operations, Strategic Planning & Execution, Profit and Loss Rationalization, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Vendor Management, and Brand Management. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10+ years of experience in category management, product development, buying and merchandising, or a related field within retail or the entertainment/amusement industry. A proven track record of managing merchandise collections, preferably in the apparel or branded goods sector, is required. Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, creative design, and supply chain, to align product launches and sales strategies is essential. Prior experience in a theme park or tourism-focused retail setting would be advantageous. Technical skills needed for this role include proficiency in inventory management systems and forecasting tools, strong analytical skills to assess product performance, profitability, and market demand, knowledge of supply chain management and international sourcing, hands-on experience in vendor negotiation and contract management, and familiarity with e-commerce platforms and visual merchandising strategies for physical and online retail environments.,

Your key skills should include Category Management, Product development, Buying and Merchandising, Forecasting & planning, International sourcing, Brand Management, Retail Operations, Strategic Planning & Execution, Profit and Loss Rationalization, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Vendor Management, and Brand Management. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in category management, product development, buying and merchandising, or a related field within retail or the entertainment/amusement industry is required. A proven track record of managing merchandise collections, preferably in the apparel or branded goods sector, is essential. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative design, and supply chain, to align product launches and sales strategies is also necessary. Prior experience in a theme park or tourism-focused retail setting is a plus.,
