We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, RFP Analyst to join the BNY Investments team. This role is located in Tokyo. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Delivery of high-quality RFPs RFIs and DDQs across Investment Management Japan's FIG, Pension and Retail businesses Provide strategic direction and improve the RFP/RFI/DDQ process as appropriate, including but not limited to automation, use of AI and systems (MS CoPilot, Loopio, etc.) and strategic outsourcing of business processes to overseas locations, e.g. India. Provide expertise around approaches to improve RFP winning rates and opportunities for competitive product positioning Develop a high-level understanding of the key products that BNY Investment Management distributes in the APAC region, and maintain regular contacts with BNY Mellon Investment Management's investment firms and product development team to keep your knowledge up-to-date Coordinate with internal business partners (e.g. Sales, Product Development, Global RFP Team, Investment Management Services, Human Resources, Legal and Compliance, etc.) to develop, edit and review RFPs, RFIs and DDQs for Japan, on a timely and accurate basis Maintain efficient processes to ensure RFP, RFI and DDQ contents are current, accurate and tailored to meet the specific requirements of each RFP/RFI/DDQ request, as well as continuously seek to improve efficiency Occasionally support the Client Service Team by answering ad-hoc client requests and complete special projects as needed To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Degree level education 3-5 years of working experience in financial services, experience in RFP, RFI and DDQ production is a plus A solid understanding of investment products, asset classes, and financial markets is a plus Take ownership of assignments and be able to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a well-organized manner Excellent attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Bilingual in English and Japanese, an additional Asian language (e.g. Chinese, Korean) is a plus At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at: Here's a few of our recent awards: America's Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025 World's Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025 Most Just Companies, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025 Our Benefits and Rewards: BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
