Job Title : Looker Architect Note: We are looking for someone who can run discover workshop to understand current domo models and define scope for converting to looker. Job Description : We are seeking a Looker Architect with proven expertise in running discovery workshops, analyzing existing Domo BI models , and defining the scope for migration to Looker . The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding current BI landscape, creating optimized Looker data models, and leading the migration roadmap. Responsibilities : Conduct workshops with stakeholders to analyze existing Domo models. Define scope, strategy, and roadmap for Domo-to-Looker migration. Additionally, you must demonstrate strong SQL and data modeling skills, familiarity with version control systems like Git, and excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. Experience - 5-10 years Location - Hyderabad Description Design, develop, and maintain advanced Looker dashboards on GCP, ensuring they are intuitive, user-friendly, and provide actionable insights. Develop custom visualizations(ex. using Java Script) Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, integrating data from various sources while ensuring accuracy and consistency. Develop and optimize LookML models for efficient data querying and visualization, implementing data governance and best practices for data management within Looker. Monitor and optimize the performance of Looker dashboards, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to dashboard performance and data accuracy. Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, providing training and support to end-users for effective use of Looker dashboards. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization. Identify opportunities to enhance existing dashboards and develop new ones, contributing to the development of standard operating procedures and documentation. Manage code changes using version control and validate data using Looker's SQL Runner. Optimize and maintain Looker performance by reviewing SQL queries and data structures, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within Looker by building strong data validation processes.
