Primary role would be Google Looker (Customer Hosted) There are 2 flavours of looker , Looker (Customer hosted) Infrastructure managed by customers Looker (Google cloud core) – Infrastructure managed by Google We are specifically looking for Customer Hosted where we are managing the environment. Google Looker Admin, Google Cloud , DevOps , Automation , Linux Exposure in Administration of Google Looker (Customer Hosted) , Google Cloud , DevOps , Automation , Linux. Qualifications What you will need to succeed in the role: ? Experience of Google Looker (Customer Hosted) Administration. Should know how to Install/Upgrade Looker in Linux Server Should know hot to setup MySQL backend database for Looker Should know the security model of looker in Project and User management. Should know how to create Projects , Setup Git , Alerts & Schedules for Dashboards. Should know basics of LookML. Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform. Should know how to create VM's through Script. Should know basics of Buckets , Load Balancer , DNS , SSL , Nginx, Bigquery. Should know how to create Ansible jobs and workflows and their issues. Should know how to create Jenkins jobs and workflows and their issues. Core GitHub and Git Expertise: Demonstrate strong understanding and practical experience with Git commands, GitHub workflows (pull requests, branches, etc.), and version control best practices. Write, review, and maintain code, ensuring it's well-designed, testable, and efficiently Identify and resolve issues, troubleshoot problems, and contribute to the overall quality of the software What additional skills will be good to have? Knowledge of other reporting platform like QlikSense , Nprinting. Good to have Knowledge of Incident and Change Management Process Experience in automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement Enthusiastic willingness to rapidly and independently learn and develop technical and soft skills as needs require. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Good team player who embraces team work and mutual support. Interested in working in a fast paced environment providing customized tooling solutions across a variety of platforms. Willing to provide weekend support or cover as needs require.
