Loneliness Global Action (LGA)

Company Description Loneliness Action Kerala is the Kerala State chapter of Loneliness Action India, which is a country chapter of Loneliness Global Action. Loneliness Global Action (LGA) is the first citizen-powered global NGO dedicated to tackling loneliness across various sectors. Using AI-powered tools, a global open database, and collective knowledge, LGA empowers individuals and communities to understand, address, and overcome loneliness together. The organization operates with a vision of making human connection a national priority in every country and culture. Currently active in 10 countries including France, Indonesia, Switzerland, and the USA, LGA aims to impact 100 countries by 2026. Role Description Day-to-day tasks of the volunteer include coordinating local events, engaging with community members, creating awareness campaigns, and collaborating with local organizations to address loneliness. The volunteer will also conduct research, collect data, and contribute to policy-making initiatives related to loneliness. Qualifications Proactive and Empathetic Character with a Strong commitment to Ethics and Justice Event Coordination, Community Engagement, and Campaign Management skills Research and Data Collection skills Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills Collaboration and Teamwork skills Ability to work independently in Kerala Experience in social work, public health, psychology, or related fields is a plus Bachelor's or Master's degree in social sciences, public health, or related field
