As a Pricing Executive in the field of Freight Forwarding & Logistics based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in our team with your expertise in pricing strategies and negotiation skills. With over 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive freight quotes for various modes of transportation such as Air and Sea FCL/LCL. Your key responsibilities will include liaising with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents to negotiate rates, analyzing rate trends to develop pricing strategies that support the sales team, maintaining updated tariff/rate sheets, and coordinating RFQs for global tenders. It will be essential for you to ensure accurate and timely submission of quotations by collaborating effectively with the operations and documentation teams for smooth handovers. The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing, with a strong understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and trade lanes. You should possess proven negotiation skills and be familiar with pricing tools, portals, and market benchmarking. Attention to detail, proficiency in Excel, and excellent email communication skills are crucial for this position.
