Implement ERP/WMS systems for real-time inventory visibility. 3. Logistics Operations: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for raw materials and finished goods. Negotiate and manage contracts with transporters and 3PL partners in collaboration with procurement head. Optimize freight costs, delivery timelines, and vehicle utilization. Ensure on-time dispatches and delivery to customers, suppliers and partners 4. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse supervisors, logistics executives, and support staff. Define KPIs and performance targets for warehouse and logistics teams. Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safety. 5. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and EHS requirements in warehousing and logistics. Implement safety protocols, fire prevention, and emergency response procedures. Maintain documentation for audits and AEO certification. 6. Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization: Analyze data to identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and reduce costs. Drive automation and digital transformation in warehousing and logistics. Implement Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. 7. Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Customer Service to align supply chain plans. Ensure effective communication regarding order status, delays, and transportation issues. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of warehousing principles, inventory systems, and logistics planning. Proficient in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics etc.). Leadership, strategic thinking, and team management skills. Analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Supplier management and negotiation skills. Understanding of statutory norms (GST, E-way bill, Customs, etc.). Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. MBA in Supply Chain / Operations (preferred). 10+ years of experience in warehousing & logistics, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
