Position: Project Head/ Project Manager Reporting to: CEO/ Director Company Type: Industrial Construction Contracting Company Location: Ranjangaon, Maharashtra Projects: Warehouse Project Projects Cost: 100 Crores Notice Period: Within 1 Month/ 45 days Age: Below 58 Years Educational Qualifications: B.E/B Tech- Civil Role Overview The General Manager (GM) Projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading the end-to-end execution of warehouse construction projects. This executive role ensures delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The GM acts as the central point of accountability for all phases pre-construction, execution, and handoverleading multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholders such as clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution Lead the full lifecycle of warehouse constructionfrom feasibility and design coordination through execution and handover. Establish and track project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are consistently met. Direct, supervise, and mentor project managers, engineers, and site teams. Drive quality assurance, monitor compliance with design specifications, and ensure safety protocols. Budgeting & Cost Control Develop and manage detailed project budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing efficiency. Oversee procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and contracts; verify adequacy and pricing of materials and labor. Regularly review financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary. Stakeholder Management Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and regulatory authorities to ensure requirements are met. Maintain strong client relationships, provide progress reports, and ensure transparent communication. Lead resolution of disputes or project obstacles. Site & Resource Management Oversee mobilization of equipment, manpower, material, and resources for multiple sites, ensuring timely and optimal deployment. Conduct site inspections; ensure project and site documentation are accurate and up to date. Regulatory & Compliance Ensure all documentation is approved and projects maintain compliance with local laws, safety, and quality standards. Obtain and verify permits and licenses as required for warehouse construction projects. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred) 15+ years’ experience in large-scale construction projects (experience with warehouse/industrial projects strongly preferred) Strong leadership, team-building, and organizational skills In-depth knowledge of construction best practices, project management processes, budgets, and schedule tracking tools Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution, and vendor management skills Proficiency in project management and construction software Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management abilities Desirable Attributes Professional certifications (PMP, LEED, OSHA, etc.) Working knowledge of warehouse-specific construction systems, prefabricated structures, and industrial safety practices Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and shifting priorities Innovative, solution-oriented thinker with a results-driven mindset Interested candidates can email their updated resume at wasim@hrworksindia.com or message on 9209078939
