Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage day-to-day logistics operations, fleet coordination, vehicle tracking, transportation planning, and logistics reporting. The candidate should have hands-on experience in managing vehicle movements, coordinating with drivers and transporters, and ensuring timely and efficient transportation of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day logistics operations and transportation activities.
• Coordinate with drivers, transporters, vendors, and internal departments for timely vehicle movement and deliveries.
• Monitor and track vehicles to ensure efficient fleet utilization and timely reporting.
• Maintain vehicle movement records, trip sheets, delivery details, and transportation documentation.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and fleet performance reports.
• Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle running costs, trip expenses, and transportation costs.
• Ensure proper vehicle allocation, route planning, and delivery scheduling.
• Follow up on vehicle breakdowns, delays, maintenance, and other operational issues.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle availability, dispatches, deliveries, and pending trips.
• Ensure compliance with transportation documentation and applicable vehicle regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and control transportation costs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics operations, fleet management, or transportation coordination.
• Good knowledge of vehicle tracking, fleet monitoring, and transportation management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and preparation of logistics reports.
• Strong coordination, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transportation activities and meet operational deadlines.
• Experience in manufacturing, paper mills, or industrial logistics will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A candidate with practical experience in fleet management, vehicle tracking, driver and transporter coordination, logistics reporting, and transportation cost monitoring who can independently manage daily logistics activities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
