Role Overview

The Logistics Executive will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods. The role focuses on dispatch coordination, transport management, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials in compliance with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute dispatch operations ensuring timely deliveries to customers or internal units.
• Coordinate with transporters, couriers, and vendors for efficient logistics arrangements.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve transport-related issues.
• Prepare logistics documents such as delivery challans, invoices, and dispatch reports.
• Maintain dispatch and logistics MIS reports for daily, weekly, and monthly tracking.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality teams for dispatch planning and scheduling.
• Identify opportunities for logistics cost optimization and process improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during transportation and handling of materials.
• Support internal and external audits related to dispatch and logistics documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of dispatch and logistics management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems for logistics tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability for route and cost optimization.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
• Ability to handle multiple dispatch operations efficiently under tight timelines.
