Job Title : Executive/Senior Executive Long Idle Department : Customer Care Sub Department : Longstay Reporting : Manager Long Idle Core Responsibilities: Ensure to send Idle notices to the consignee/shipper and the custodian as per the guidelines for all locations. Issuing letters to Customs and sending reminders if case not resolved. To monitor the responses received from the consignee on the imports above 30 Days and follow up till the units are cleared. Follow up with the Load port for additional information and assistance from the consignee/ shipper. To track the potential long stay and idling units based on the responses from the consignee and the nature of the cargo (particularly low-value cargo). Alert the head office about the same. To track all the perishable and reefer containers, follow up with the consignee to ensure immediate clearance before the cargo expiry. If possible, abandon of such cases, then alert the concern stakeholders including the POL/Shipper/Head Office/Line Management/HoLogistics/Consignee/Custodian & Customs about the sensitivity of the case, consequences and the cost involved including destruction of cargo. Communicate and take approval from HO Logistics for cases where waiver request received from the consignee Negotiate with consignee for more recovery as well resolve the case immediately. Maintain all above 30 days Master database file which include all the information of Longstay cases(Notices issued, letter issued to custodian/customs, shipper/consignee response & status). Ensure the necessary DDSM updation for all the waiver cases solved. Ensure necessary moves updated for the containers cleared through auction/destruction or destuffed where no recovery from consignee. Provide the information to DDSM desk for all such cargoes for D&D cleaning of such containers. May have to visit the Custodian & Customs to discuss about the delay in disposal / if the case is not progressing and escalation if no response/results from the authorities. Follow up with the Legal team and the lawyers till containers are back to our custody as empty. Review cases with the management where legal advice may be required and cases where Management involvement is necessary. Prepare Reports on the performances and the trend of long stay based on Locations/ Services/Commodity. Ensure regular detailed review to measure progress and update the management fortnightly. Publish Monthly statistics-based reasons such as: Containers are detained/seized for any reason by any lawful government agency. Consignee delaying but showing interest to clear. Consignee demanding waiver of charges. Under custodian control (Awaiting Auction/destruction) Container is to be re-exported to another country. Dispute between shipper and consignee. Court case Key Performance Indicators: To ensure Import Long stay units below the set target as per functional objective. To ensure units above 180 days are in the Auction list. Position Overview Were seeking a hands-on Production & Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing, logistics, inventory control, and a small team of 34 production staff. You’ll ensure raw materials flow smoothly from vendors into production, supervise fragrance blending and filling operations, and coordinate outbound shipments to fulfillment centers across India—all while maintaining accurate records through digital systems. Key Responsibilities Production Management Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met. Blend fragrances according to batch recipes; prepare blends for filling and packaging. Allocate materials and manpower across shifts; troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks. Maintain production logs, yield reports, and machine-uptime records. Inventory & Consumption Control Monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods. Record material receipts, issue notes, and consumption data in digital inventory systems. Conduct regular stock audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Inbound & Outbound Logistics Coordinate with vendors for timely pickup of raw materials; ensure accurate digital logging. Book and track shipments to Amazon FBA, Shiprocket, and other fulfillment centers. Liaise with transport partners and courier services; negotiate rates and service terms. Maintain all logistics documentation (shipment manifests, freight bills, delivery receipts). Team Leadership & Training Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 3–4 production workers. Schedule shifts, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance against KPIs. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings; enforce compliance with SOPs and safety protocols. Continuous Improvement & Reporting Analyze production and logistics data to identify efficiency gains and cost-saving opportunities. Implement corrective actions for quality issues or process deviations. Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly reports to management on production output, inventory status, and logistics performance. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Experience in production supervision, preferably in a chemical or fragrance-based manufacturing environment is an advantage, but not mandatory Education: Diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficient with inventory management and order-booking software (ERP/WMS). Comfortable using MS Excel, Google Sheets, and digital record-keeping tools. Logistics Knowledge: Understanding of freight booking, dispatch planning, and vendor coordination. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead small teams, manage shifts, and drive performance. Liaise with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries. 4. Reporting & Data Management Regularly review sales performance and strategy with accurate data analysis. Collaborate with the UK Head of Sales and Sales Manager on key initiatives. Maintain and update Power BI dashboards (Market Share, Bulk Volumes, and Prescription Data). Prepare reports and presentations ahead of internal meetings. Improve accuracy and timeliness of cost/profit reporting. Keep all system records and project logs up to date. Introduce performance commentary and insights using data from multiple sources. 5. Hospital Team Support Update and maintain prescription databases. Support the collection and tracking of hospital leads. Work closely with the hospital sales team to meet reporting and operational needs. 6. Team Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration Oversee daily tasks of the admin team to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with Finance, Logistics, and Sales teams on shared goals.
