The Logistics & Procurement position requires a candidate with a combination of logistical qualifications and analytical thinking abilities. You should possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to maintain positive business relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. Your industry experience will be crucial for accurately assessing the quality of products and services. You will be responsible for sourcing suppliers based on various factors such as price, availability, quality, and logistical expenses. Evaluating vendors through in-person visits, interviews, and analysis will be part of your routine to ensure high-quality offerings. As a Logistics & Procurement professional, you will negotiate sale agreements and supply contracts to benefit the company. Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers is necessary to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the quality of goods. Material planning and procurement from both intercompany and third-party suppliers will be a key responsibility. Additionally, you will manage imports and collaborate with other units in foreign territories. Encouraging suppliers for warehousing and warehouse management will be part of your duties. You will also be involved in designing inventory strategies and monitoring inventory levels to optimize efficiency. Education and experience required for this role include a Science graduate, Diploma holder, or Bachelors in Engineering. Ideally, you should have at least 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, particularly in the automotive or manufacturing sector. Your expertise should cover best practices in purchasing, supplier management, and new product development. Familiarity with raw material analysis, value engineering, supply chain management, project management, RFQ process, supplier selection, and quality assurance will be beneficial.,
