We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OCI PaaS Professional to join our team in Bengaluru . This role offers a hybrid work mode , combining the flexibility of remote work with in-office collaboration. We are specifically looking for candidates who can join us on an immediate to 30-day (maximum) notice period . As an OCI PaaS Professional, you will be instrumental in managing, securing, and optimizing our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Platform as a Service (PaaS) deployments. You will leverage your expertise to ensure the robust operation, effective monitoring, and business continuity of critical PaaS services. Key Responsibilities: PaaS Services Management: Expertly set up, configure, and continuously monitor a wide array of Oracle PaaS Services, including but not limited to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Autonomous Database (ADB), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), and Oracle Financial Data Management Cloud (FDI). Logging Configuration & Management: Design and implement comprehensive OCI logging services to efficiently collect, analyze, and manage logs from various OCI PaaS resources. This includes configuring log retention policies, filtering mechanisms, and ensuring effective log utilization for operational insights. Security Event and Management (SEAM): Configure and manage security and operational events across the OCI PaaS environment. Establish robust ingestion mechanisms to integrate these events with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, facilitating the proactive detection of security threats and anomalies. Disaster Recovery (DR): Architect, design, and implement resilient disaster recovery strategies specifically tailored for PaaS deployments. This involves configuring failover mechanisms, establishing recovery procedures, and regularly conducting DR drills to ensure business continuity and quick recovery in unforeseen circumstances. Performance & Optimization: Monitor the performance of PaaS services, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure high availability and efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to best practices. Required Qualifications: 5-10 years of hands-on experience specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle PaaS services. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in managing complex cloud environments and critical business applications. Mandatory Skills: OCI PaaS Services Expertise: Strong proficiency in the setup, configuration, and monitoring of Oracle PaaS services, particularly OIC, Autonomous Database, ODI, and FDI. OCI Logging & Monitoring: In-depth knowledge of OCI logging services, log collection, analysis, retention policies, and filtering. Security Event Management (SIEM Integration): Experience in configuring and managing security/operational events, with proven ability to ingest and integrate data with SIEM tools for threat detection. Disaster Recovery (DR) for PaaS: Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and conduct drills for disaster recovery strategies specific to PaaS deployments, including failover mechanisms. Cloud Operations: Understanding of cloud operational best practices, incident management, and performance tuning for cloud services. Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration.
