As an MEP BIM Manager at our company, you will be responsible for leading and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in our projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring effective BIM implementation, coordination, and collaboration between MEP disciplines and other stakeholders while upholding the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and compliance. You will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining BIM standards and procedures in alignment with ISO19650 standards and best practices. Your responsibilities will include delivering, assisting, and implementing BIM execution plans, ensuring all project members adhere to protocols, and setting up project models according to standards. Collaboration with senior staff to define deliverables schedules and assisting in the development and maintenance of MEP content libraries will also be part of your role. Your tasks will involve modeling various services such as mechanical pipework, ventilation, lighting, power, containment, and drainage. Additionally, you will prepare coordination strategies, review Revit Fabrication & Spool drawings, and oversee 2D coordination and installation drawings. Experience with BIM detail LOD300, LOD400, and LOD500 projects is essential. You will be required to work on project phases from stage 3 to stage 5 across multiple regions, including the UK, Ireland, US, and the Middle East. Collaborating with project engineers and management staff to resolve issues, explain drawings to production or construction teams, and update coordination documents registers and drawings are also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the BIM Strategy, acting as the project-based BIM point of contact, and ensuring the delivery of BIM & digital objectives throughout the project lifecycle. Conducting BIM coordination meetings, managing project documentation, and supporting project teams with BIM tools and training will be integral to your role. Your expertise should include a minimum of 10+ years of experience in a BIM coordination function, proficiency in Autodesk AEC Suites, cloud collaboration platforms, and ESRI products. In-depth knowledge of Geographical Information System, best design practices, project delivery, and construction methods is required. Familiarity with 4D & 5D BIM software, Dynamo, and COBie will be advantageous.
