Role & responsibilities Local Networks Product Cluster Manager (PC 05) India for India: Build 5-year integrated Product roadmap for S/2027 to drive LAPP brand change from a cable company to a connectivity solution provider company and get Gate approval for product development [via Make/ White labeling / Trading] via Stage Gate. Work closely with Global and Regional Networks Product Cluster Managers and Industrial Communication Market Managers for Portfolio Building and Product Life Cycle Management. Support LAPP India Strategic Initiative Industrial Communication (IC) sales growth (S/2027 aspirations) by closely monitoring & driving IC business in full support of IC Sales Lead and customers. Understand local market trends, industry needs and customer pain points. Define target market prices for competitiveness and initiates measures for profitability. Contribute to regional M&A taskforce for LAPP to build up Active Device technology, engineering, manufacturing, and selling capabilities Support Country level goals to create & drive strategy to double Ethernet cable sales and increase Patch cord sales by 30% in FY25. Support New APAC Focus Industry by developing a Data Center Product Portfolio as part of IC global business growth aspirations. Identify IC Sales Champions and Provide internal training at monthly frequency for better sales pitch in the market. Share PC 05 Business sales analysis (Highlights and Lowlights) at monthly frequency and close loop feedback and corrective actions if needed. Collaborate with Sales teams to share success stories / Monthly IC Performance. Lead Product Marketing activities [Videos/Bulletins/White Papers/Samples/Marketing events] to drive New Product Vitality and Product Hit rate in alignment with key focus industries like Semiconductor, Battery/ESS, Automotive/EV, Data Center, Intralogistics, Renewable Energy Preferred candidate profile Bachelors Degree in the field of Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field with 8-12 Years experience in Industrial automation or IT networking Industry Proven experience in relevant field and industry (i.e., Industrial Automation & Networking, IT Networking) Working knowledge of relevant communication standards like IEEE, ISO11801, TIA 568 Working knowledge of active networking devices like Network Switches, Routers, Gateway etc. Working knowledge of testing of passive copper and fiber optic network is an advantage.
