As a POWER SYSTEM ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - SYSTEM STUDY at EXPEL PRSOYS PRIVATE LIMITED, you will be involved in various electrical engineering projects, focusing on scope identification, technical specifications, and engineering calculations. You will play a crucial role in conducting simulation studies using ETAP software and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation and analysis of protection schemes, collaborating with senior engineers, and contributing to the overall success of the projects. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in System Study. Whether you are a fresher or have up to 2 years of experience, your expertise in ETAP software, Relay Coordination, ARC Flash, Short Circuit, Load Flow, Harmonic, Transient, and Motor Starting will be valuable in this role. The position is based in Vadodara and offers a permanent, full-time opportunity. Key Responsibilities: - Scope Identification: Assist in identifying electrical scope for projects, considering all aspects of electrical systems. - Technical Specifications: Contribute to developing technical specifications for electrical equipment and systems. - Simulation Studies: Perform various studies using ETAP such as load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, arc flash, transient stability, motor starting, ground grid assessments, and harmonic studies. - Protection Schemes: Support the preparation and analysis of protection schemes including differential protection, grid islanding, load shedding, and synchronization. - Engineering Calculations: Conduct necessary engineering calculations to ensure design and analysis compliance with industry standards. - Documentation: Prepare technical reports and documentation for simulation studies and protection schemes. - Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and team members to achieve project goals and timelines. - Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering. Qualifications: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - Proficiency in power system analysis and simulation software, particularly ETAP. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Eagerness to learn and grow within the electrical engineering field. Preferred Qualifications: - Internship or project experience related to electrical engineering. - Knowledge of electrical protection schemes and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC). - Understanding of power system operation and protection concepts.
