You have an exciting opportunity as an NVH Engineer in Chennai with a Senior Team Lead position. With an experience range of 4 to 6 years in NVH, you are required to have a Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Engineering, preferably in streams like Mechanical, Engineering Design, CAD/CAM, Thermal, and Automobile. As an NVH Engineer, your responsibilities will include having extensive knowledge in NVH CAE analysis, understanding various vehicle systems such as powertrain, chassis, and driveline, and conducting NVH data acquisition analysis and reporting. You will be tasked with providing subjective assessments of the complete vehicle concerning NVH attributes and ensuring visibility of gaps to target with identified action plans. Root-cause analysis of NVH-related issues and devising appropriate solutions will be part of your role, along with the experience to perform and evaluate common load cases used to predict the NVH performance of a vehicle. Your expertise in developing optimization strategies suitable for NVH performance and ensuring optimal delivery of required performance attributes will be crucial. You will specify and utilize tests as appropriate to support the process, work with NVH CAE design verification (DV) process, and support programs using CAE, MBD, and BEM (Boundary Element Method) software to assess system-level NVH performance. Interpreting CAE results to support design/release activities and ensuring NVH targets are achieved will be essential. Your knowledge with SEA software and modeling for NVH and acoustical products at the vehicle level within the automotive industry will be valuable. You will validate CAE predictions against hardware testing to confirm model accuracy, develop, implement, and document new NVH CAE processes, and possess good communication skills along with strong engineering fundamentals. In this role, your solver expertise should include NASTRAN, and pre-processor skills with ANSA. Your ability to communicate effectively, a sound engineering background, and proficiency in NVH analysis tools will contribute to the success of the projects you will be working on.,
