As a Load Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to perform detailed load estimating using computer software simulation. This will involve a thorough understanding of building construction materials, meeting outdoor air requirements for indoor air quality, and internal heat loads generated by lighting, computers, and equipment. Your role will also include the application and selection of various HVAC equipment such as air handling units, fans, coils, condensing units, and furnaces. Additionally, you will be involved in designing and laying out commercial and industrial duct systems, including supply, return, exhaust, ventilation, and dust collection systems. You will also be responsible for selecting air terminal devices like variable air volume boxes, grilles, diffusers, and louvers. Knowledge of hydronic systems, steam/condensate systems, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated system accessories will be crucial for this role. While a general understanding of HVAC system controls is desirable, you will also need to develop HVAC temperature control diagrams and written sequences of operation. Familiarity with plumbing design, plumbing code, and requirements for sanitary sewer, vent piping, storm sewer piping, and domestic hot and cold water piping design will be beneficial. Your duties will include developing construction document packages based on project requirements, coordinating with other disciplines like structural, architectural, and electrical teams, directing drafting personnel, and reviewing project construction documents. You will also write job-specific equipment and materials specifications and participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and expectations. Attendance and conduct of various meetings like project review meetings, construction meetings, and project closeout meetings will be part of your responsibilities. You will also review project shop drawings and submittals and conduct on-site inspections of HVAC system installations. This is a full-time position requiring a Bachelor's degree, with at least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred. The job is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and requires reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work.
