Load Booking/ Dispatch

We are a fast-paced and growing logistics company operating across North America, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Load Booking Specialist to join our dynamic team. If you have proven experience in securing profitable freight and managing carrier relationships using industry-leading tools, we want to hear from you.The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional negotiation and communication skills, capable of thriving in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and book loads efficiently and profitably using online load boards such as DAT, Loadlink, and other proprietary systems.
• Negotiate competitive rates with brokers and clients to maximize revenue while maintaining service quality.
• Manage end-to-end load booking process, including verifying load details (rates, pickup/delivery times, equipment types) and sending/receiving rate confirmations, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and a network of clients (existing client base is a significant asset).
• Maintain accurate records in our Transportation Management System (TMS) and ensure all details are current and correct.
• Assist the dispatch team with scheduling and load planning as needed.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing rate agreements.
• In-depth familiarity with North American (U.S. & Canadian) geography and major freight lanes.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and professionalism in all interactions.
• Proficiency with TMS software and standard office tools (email, etc.).
• An existing client base or carrier network is considered a strong advantage.
