About the position: The Turnaround Planner is a team member of the Maintenance and Turnaround organization within the Chevron ENGINE Center. The role provides turnaround and maintenance planning support to Chevrons Refining and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) assets. This role will support the development of detailed job plans and accurate resource estimates for turnaround work scope. This position will collaborate across multiple levels of the organization and within multi-discipline teams including Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Reliability. Essential Qualifications and Education: Bachelors degree in Project Management / Engineering / Construction / Business Management or equivalent combinations of technical training or experience required 7-10 years of EPCIC experience with Onshore or Offshore Oil and Gas or Power Generation related projects Planning/Scheduling experience for Large LNG or Topside Fabrication projects preferred Have solid commands of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office software Must be able to use advanced features in Excel (curves, histograms, dynamic tables, formulas, etc.) Able to produce and maintain logically linked activity schedules, according to precedence flow in EPCIC planning, using best practices Able to produce and assess progress curves, histograms, variance reports, and critical paths Able to analyze project status and performance, deviations, performance factors, forecasts, and workarounds Must be able to produce multidisciplinary logically linked activity schedules, according to precedence flow in planning, using best industry practices Ability to effectively communicate with team members and management #LI-MM2 Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Perform schedule analysis using Project Management software including Primavera P6, Deltek Fuse & Risk, and Microsoft Project Support project baseline creation during the project initiation and setup phase Facilitate detailed multi-discipline scope reviews Provide project schedule support and mentor junior planners as required Develop and maintain logically linked level 3 and level 4 activity schedules, for marine scope installation projects in the Oil and Gas Industry (pipelines, subsea, platforms, HDD), according to precedence flow planning, using best practices Produce workforce histograms and progress and quantity curves in connection with the schedules Maintain and review the sequence of Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Hook-Up, and Commissioning, and other operations for control of critical path and overall project durations Elevate and expedite operations that are delaying the schedule and analyze changes to the schedule to meet unforeseen conditions Create and Monitor schedule compliance, key performance, factors, and provide analysis of variations to baseline data Identify factors, both current and potential, that may delay the schedule. Assess actions for recovery and improvement and analyze changes to the schedule to meet unforeseen conditions Lead and deliver initiatives

What role you will play in our team We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Installation Engineer with 5-13 years of experience to join our industry leading Global Projects team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing offshore transportation and installation activities to ensure project objectives are achieved safely, to the required quality standards, on time and within budget. What will you do Implement project management processes in accordance with company requirements Demonstrate SSHE leadership behaviors, actively participate in SSHE programs, reviews, and inspections Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations and project requirements Drive project performance by collaborating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams Develop/evaluate fundamental transportation and installation (T&I) execution approach/equipment Provide technical input to scope of work and Installation specifications for tender packages Provide technical input to tender evaluation exercise Coordinate internal/external interfaces with project management team, advisors, discipline engineers / contractor Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, risk assessments and quality assurance activities Review and approve installation procedures and contractor studies Steward Marine Warranty Surveyor review and approval of T&I plans and procedures Develop T&I surveillance plans with Operations input Provide technical support as needed to vessel team(s) during offshore execution Implement lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement processes Maintain accurate project records and documentation About you Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills: 5 - 13 years of prior installation engineering experience. Bachelors degree in engineering with GPA 3.5 or above. Strong understanding of projects & project management. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements. Analytical Skills: Ability to understand complex technical documents, drawings, etc. Strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges. Behavioral Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
