You will be joining the R&D - VE - ANY - NVH Experimental Group at TVS Motor's Hosur Plant in Tamil Nadu, India. As a Testing Analyst - NVH, your primary responsibility will be to work collaboratively with attribute, testing, designers, and product teams to achieve NVH comfort in vehicles. You will be accountable for meeting NVH targets of various projects and working on vehicle and engine NVH projects to fulfill project objectives and customer expectations. Your role will involve performing standard and custom tests such as FRF, modal analysis, and shaker tests of components and systems to determine dynamic characteristics, as well as developing NVH solutions through experiments. It will be essential for you to deliver optimum engineering solutions with successful and timely issue resolution while learning and adhering to TVS NVH development processes and procedures. To excel in this role, you are required to hold a B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess prior experience in NVH testing and data analysis. A good understanding of vibration, acoustics, and dynamics, as well as knowledge of engine, chassis, and other automobile auxiliary systems, will be crucial. You should be adept at delivering NVH full vehicle solutions from benchmarking and target setting through development and verification. Familiarity with state-of-the-art NVH development techniques, instrumentation, control systems, and experimental data acquisition systems like LMS Test.Lab and HEAD ArtemiS is desired. Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as a proactive and innovative approach towards challenges are essential for success in this role. In addition to technical competencies, the role requires behavioral competencies such as basic communication skills, collaborative teamwork, interpersonal effectiveness, personal leadership, rigor in job completion, customer-centric focus, and effective time management. Furthermore, leadership competencies including leading innovation and diverse teams, adaptability, and strategic thinking will be advantageous in this position.
