You should have in-depth knowledge related to Jigs & Fixtures (Welding) design and development. You must be capable of executing Fixture design from scratch to the end of delivery, including creating 3D Models & 2D Drawings. Knowledge of Robotic welding is considered an added advantage. It is essential to develop Multiple Fixture concepts and select Standard parts such as Bearings, Clamps, Cylinders, Motors, LM guides, Extrusions, Pins, etc., supported by Calculations. Sound Knowledge of Manual Clamping, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic clamping is required. Exposure to Pneumatic and hydraulic circuits will be beneficial.
