Our client is seeking an expert Lead Java/Python Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join their team. This role requires proficiency in Java, Python, LLM/GenAI, and Image identification. This hands-on position will involve designing, architecting, and developing software. As a Lead Java/Python Engineer, your key responsibilities will include leading backend development using Java, Python, Postgres, and AI techniques to ensure the delivery of high-quality code. You will be responsible for evaluating technologies, building Proof of Concepts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative and scalable solutions to life. Participation in pair programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD) will be crucial for improving code quality and accelerating delivery. You will also engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance backend performance, scalability, and reliability while working closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and UX team to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Furthermore, fostering teamwork and ensuring alignment towards shared goals and outcomes will be a key aspect of this role. Qualifications for this position include a BE/BTech/MTech degree in CS/IT or MCA with a specialization in Software Engineering. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in enterprise backend application development using Java and Python. Additionally, a track record of solving problems utilizing LLM/GenAI and Image identification is required. Experience in digital maps, indoor positioning, and augmented reality is highly preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to acquire knowledge from various sources, and experience in leading smaller teams and mentoring best practices are mandatory. Proficiency in modern development processes such as pair programming, TDD, and Agile methodologies is essential. Excellent communication skills and a keen interest in understanding the business impact of the product are also important.
