Our client is looking for a talented and experienced LLM Lead to contribute to the development of cutting-edge AI-driven products. In this role, you will work closely with a diverse team of engineers, guiding the technical direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions within the AI and machine learning domain. A successful candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and practical experience in developing machine learning systems and models. As an LLM Lead, your responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of Machine Learning models and systems, with a particular emphasis on Generative AI and LLM-based technologies. You will also be responsible for formulating and executing strategies related to prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agents to enhance the organization's AI capabilities. Additionally, you will drive the technical roadmap for the engineering team, ensuring that it aligns with project goals and timelines. Your role will also involve providing technical expertise and hands-on programming support in Python, Langchain, and SQL, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams and business subject matter experts to understand requirements and effectively communicate technical concepts. Moreover, you will utilize Cloud services (such as Azure, GCP, or AWS) to facilitate scalable and efficient model deployment. The ideal candidate for this position should have 7-10+ years of experience in building and implementing Machine Learning models and systems, along with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI techniques, including prompt engineering, RAG, and agents. Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and steering the technical roadmap is essential, as well as proficiency in Python, Langchain, and SQL. A strong grasp of Cloud services, such as Azure, GCP, or AWS, is crucial. Effective communication skills are also necessary to collaborate successfully with business stakeholders, and a hands-on problem-solving approach is highly valued. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in deploying LLMs for real-world applications and a background in developing scalable AI solutions in a production environment.
