Position: Backend Developer Location: Location/Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid-Senior (4–5 years’ experience) Role Summary Livease is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our fast-growing startup team, contributing to the development of our innovative RFID-driven supply chain platform. You’ll play a critical role in architecting, building, and maintaining high-performance backend systems that drive seamless automation, data flow, and intelligence across our ERP-like product. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend components and microservices for our RFID-based ERP solution. Architect and implement robust APIs for integration with front-end platforms, RFID hardware, and third-party systems. Develop secure, reliable, and high-throughput data pipelines and ensure rigorous data integrity across distributed systems. Optimize application performance, manage database design, and ensure data security and compliance. Collaborate closely with front-end developers, IoT and RFID engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions. Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and enforce best practices in version control and CI/CD. Proactively identify technical debt, recommend improvements, and participate in discussions on system architecture. Stay updated with the latest advancements in backend development, ERP, RFID, and supply chain automation technologies. Required Qualifications 4–5 years’ professional experience as a Backend Developer, ideally in high-growth or product-driven environments. Proficiency in at least one modern backend framework (e.g., Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, Spring Boot). Strong expertise in building RESTful APIs, real-time data streaming, and event-driven architectures. Understanding of Python (Django framework), AI, and ML-based frameworks Solid experience working with both relational and NoSQL databases. Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services such as containerization, deployment, and monitoring. Experience integrating with hardware systems (RFID, IoT) or ERP solutions is highly preferred. Demonstrated commitment to software security, authentication systems, and scalable architecture. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience). Preferred Skills Experience in developing supply chain, ERP, or industrial automation software. Familiarity with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based serverless systems. Prior work on RFID applications or in logistics/warehousing technology.
