The key purpose of this position is to take control of the Legal department for the assigned region, overseeing all legal cases within the area to safeguard the Company's legal interests. You will be responsible for providing necessary legal support in designated areas, supporting all verticals of the territory, including NPA and Bad Debts-Write-off teams for auto financing business. Your role will involve managing recoveries of Provisioning cases, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring smooth operations. You will also be tasked with managing Repo and Disposal of assets with legal support, ensuring compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations to meet business and legal requirements. It is essential to ensure full compliance with the law and provide appropriate support for various departments" smooth functioning. Developing a robust litigation process for the assigned territory will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will work to protect the company's assets and employees, providing legal tools for the resolution of NPA and BD contracts, and ensuring the execution of available legal tools for Fraud Management. Managing Outsource Agency for Legal tools execution and handling Criminal Matters will also be part of your duties. You will lay down a litigation process that aligns with the legal environment, provide system-based legal tools to the circle team, and review policy implementation while guiding corrective actions. Ensuring legal cases filed in the regions are concluded within the defined TAT and determining TAT for each activity in consultation with the team will be essential. Frequent visits to all Regional/Territory/Branch offices of the States, meeting with teams, providing guidance, and sharing knowledge of current working portals will also be required. Resolving online customer complaints appropriately and providing regular feedback to the sales and collection team on portfolio performance, sourcing quality, turnaround, and market trends are part of the responsibilities. In the candidate profile, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Effective communication skills both internally and externally with stakeholders, team management, channel management, and leadership skills are required. Being detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, proactive, and strong in verbal and written communication are essential qualities for this role. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing through ambiguity, proactively identifying areas for improvement, and executing tasks effectively. Concise, direct communication, active knowledge-sharing skills, and the ability to build effective relationships and motivate others are critical for this position.,
