You are an experienced and innovative BESS Product Head responsible for leading the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) product line within the Renewable Energy Battery Storage Division at Surya International Enterprise Private Limited in Bhubaneswar. With over 10 years of experience in battery technology and energy storage systems, you will bring strategic thinking, product innovation, cross-functional coordination, and technical expertise to develop and scale BESS products for residential, commercial, and utility-scale applications. Your key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end product lifecycle of BESS solutions, defining product roadmap and technical specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying updated on global trends and competitor technologies, developing go-to-market strategies, ensuring product compliance with standards, driving innovation in system integration and performance, managing vendor relationships, leading field performance evaluations, providing technical leadership, and mentoring junior engineers. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Energy Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in battery technology and energy storage systems. In addition, you should possess in-depth knowledge of battery chemistries, BMS, power electronics, experience in designing and launching energy storage products, familiarity with renewable integration and smart grid technologies, as well as strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Exposure to international BESS markets and product certifications is considered a plus. Preferred attributes for this role include visionary thinking, strong problem-solving ability, and prior experience working in EPC or renewable energy companies.,
