The ideal candidate should have strong experience in service virtualization and API simulationnot from the OS virtualization side. You will play a critical role in testing microservices-based applications and ensuring service reliability in cloud environments. Key Responsibilities API Mocking & Service Virtualization: Design and implement virtual services for APIs using Broadcom DevTest. Automation Testing: Develop and maintain robust automated test cases for APIs and backend services. Test Framework Ownership: Maintain and enhance test frameworks using Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, and Java. Integration with CI/CD Pipelines: Ensure seamless test integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Manual & Exploratory Testing: Perform high-quality manual testing to supplement automation and identify edge-case scenarios. Collaboration & Agile Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software with a test-first mindset. Defect Lifecycle Management: Log, track, and validate defects using tools like JIRA; ensure quick turnaround on resolutions. Test Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, scripts, and results for internal and client use. Required Skills 6–10 years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles. Strong hands-on expertise in Broadcom DevTest/CA Lisa for API mocking and service virtualization.
