Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primer as needed. Mix, match, and apply liquid paints and coatings according to job specifications and color standards.
Set up and operate conventional and HVLP spray guns, pumps, and related painting equipment. Inspect parts and surfaces to ensure uniform coverage, thickness, and high-quality finishes
Maintain and clean spray guns, hoses, and paint booths to ensure proper operation and safety.
Follow safety protocols, including proper PPE use and handling of hazardous materials (per OSHA and company standards). Record paint usage, job numbers, and batch information accurately.
Work with the quality control team to ensure finished products meet company and customer specifications. Identify and correct defects such as runs, sags, or uneven finishes. Assist with touch-ups and rework when necessary.
