We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Bending Machine Operator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press brake machines used for bending and forming sheet metal parts. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical drawings, fabrication techniques, and CNC machine operations. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC bending (press brake) machines to produce parts according to blueprints and technical drawings. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and production schedules. Select appropriate tools, dies, and machine settings based on material and part specifications. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges to ensure compliance with dimensional tolerances. Collaborate with the quality control team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate production. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred). Minimum 1 year of experience operating CNC press brake/bending machines. Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical blueprints. Familiarity with CNC programming and machine setup processes. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CNC press brake machines such as Amada. Knowledge of different materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, stainless steel) and their bending properties.
