As a Full Stack Developer at WNS, your responsibilities will include collaborating with diverse teams to gather and analyze requirements, converting them into technical specifications and development plans. You will be tasked with designing, developing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure backend APIs and services utilizing technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using Angular to ensure a seamless user experience across multiple devices. Implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for both frontend and backend components will be a crucial aspect of your role. Writing clean, modular, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices, as well as troubleshooting complex issues throughout the application stack will also be part of your duties. Furthermore, integrating third-party APIs and conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and fostering a collaborative development environment are essential tasks. Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in full stack development and sharing insights with the team will also be expected from you. To qualify for this role, you should possess a minimum of 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring development teams. Proficiency in Angular, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB is essential, along with experience in building RESTful APIs. A strong grasp of design patterns, clean code principles, and excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are also required. A passion for crafting high-quality, user-centric web applications is a key attribute for this position. Must-have skills for this role include expertise in Angular 12+, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Angular CLI, Node.js, Authentication & Authorization (JWT, OAuth, Okta), MongoDB, Schema design, data modeling, performance tuning, indexing, Git, Github, branching strategies, and pull requests. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, security vulnerability identification, technology upgrades, unit testing frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix command-line skills, Azure, AWS, SonarQube, and error handling/logging mechanisms will be advantageous.
