GlobalLogic is seeking a candidate with 6+ years of relevant test automation development experience and at least 4 years of Python programming experience. The ideal candidate should be capable of innovating automated test development for applications developed in Linux/C/C++, developing automation test scripts using Python, and converting manual test cases into reliable, repeatable automated tests. Responsibilities of this position include contributing to the Continuous Integration pipeline by running component builds, creating and running Deployment jobs on individual stages on Jenkins, and executing automated functional tests. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to set up and maintain test automation infrastructure and tools, debug failing tests to enhance product and automated test quality, and develop tools/scripts that reduce manual work and increase productivity. The successful candidate should possess strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills. They should have solid experience in developing test plans and test cases, excellent debugging skills, and familiarity with working on Linux-based systems. Proficiency in Automation Frameworks and continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Hudson, TeamCity, Maven, and Gradle is required. Experience with Git/GitLab, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and remote teams are also essential. Desirable experience includes familiarity with other automated testing tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, RestAssured, and SoapUI. Candidates with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based test automation frameworks and scripts using BDD and TDD, as well as previous exposure to Non-Functional Testing (Performance Testing, Stress Testing) and compatibility testing with Audio/Video streaming devices, HDMI/HDCP, Wireless Networks, and Bluetooth will be preferred.
