As a Java Developer at GlobalLogic, you will have the opportunity to work on a brand new program aimed at developing an application gateway from scratch. This solution will enable a major US Telecom Operator to integrate their legacy solutions with a cutting-edge platform. Joining a team of over 40 specialists, you will work with modern technologies in an AGILE (SAFe) development model, ensuring a stable process and a positive atmosphere throughout the initiation, development, testing, integration, and acceptance stages. To excel in this role, you must thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile development environment that supports short iterative cycles. Adapting to changing business priorities is essential for success in this position. You should have a strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, including test-driven development, continuous integration, code coverage, and code analysis. Additionally, you should possess effective interpersonal communication skills to collaborate within a team environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of commercial experience in software development with Java and microservices. Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Virtualization technologies such as OpenStack and OPNFV, as well as industry standards like ETSI-NFV in the Telecom market, is a plus. Experience in developing applications with microservices architecture is also desirable. Key technologies and tools that you will work with include Java 17, Spring Boot 2, RESTful and SOAP, JMS, JPA/Hibernate, MyBatis, SQL, Jboss 7.x, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Maven, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Bash, PostgreSQL, JUnit, OpenStack, and RESTEasy. Familiarity with Camunda, BPMN, Spring Boot, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Linux x86, and microservices will be advantageous. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing new features" requirements, implementing new solution features through Java code development, bug-fixing, self-testing of developed features, covering code with unit tests, writing automation test cases, and providing demo sessions for developed functionality.
