We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented System Administrator with a strong background in Vulnerability Assessment (VA) and Secure Configuration Document (SCD) implementation. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing and securing both Linux and Windows environments , applying industry best practices to ensure infrastructure integrity and compliance. Experience with automation tools like Ansible , and scripting in Bash or PowerShell , is essential. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools and remediate identified security issues. Apply and enforce secure configurations based on SCD principles, CIS Benchmarks, and other compliance frameworks. Perform system hardening, security patching, and routine maintenance to ensure a secure and stable infrastructure. Monitor system performance, availability, and security alerts; respond to incidents and anomalies as needed. Automate repetitive administrative tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, or similar tools. Collaborate with security, development, and IT teams to enhance the overall security posture. Maintain comprehensive documentation including system configurations, SOPs, remediation steps, and compliance reports. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator. Proficient in Linux distributions (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Microsoft Windows Server environments. Practical experience with Vulnerability Assessment tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys). Sound knowledge of Secure Configuration Documents (SCD) and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST). Strong scripting skills in Bash and PowerShell. Experience with automation/configuration management tools like Ansible , Puppet, or Chef. Good understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, access controls, and system monitoring. Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and work under minimal supervision. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
