SYSTEM ADMIN : Core Responsibilities System Configuration & Maintenance Manage provisioning and lifecycle of virtual machines and bare-metal servers, including EC2 instances or equivalents across cloud environments. Reliability & Recovery Support Plan and execute failover and recovery tests for system-level infrastructure layers (e.g., clustered services, replicated file systems), in collaboration with L3 teams. Maintain runbooks for system restoration, service reboots, and rollback procedures to ensure quick recovery during unplanned events. Support maintenance windows and production cutovers, providing OS-level readiness checks, validation steps, and post-event logs.
