You will be responsible for managing storage hardware, software configuration, SAN devices, fiber switches, data management, performance optimization, backup methods, documentation, and server administration in an IT Services Organization. Your duties will include installing, configuring, and maintaining storage hardware backup systems, such as physical and virtual tape libraries or drives, and disk storage targets. You will also be responsible for installing and configuring NetBackup customer software on UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems. Additionally, you will manage SAN devices and fiber switches, administer Brocade director FC switches and blade chassis FC devices, and execute FC zoning for development and production storage volumes. You will handle NetApp snapshots, across-site replication of DR data, volume replication jobs, and performance evaluations for production and development database LUNs. Furthermore, you will ensure backup methods are in place for FC LUNs, maintain records for storage and FC systems, and administer server systems as required. Your role will require at least 6 years of experience in storage administration and backup systems, expertise in NetBackup software, strong knowledge of SAN devices, fiber switches, and FC zoning, as well as experience with NetApp snapshot management and data replication. To excel in this position, you should have proficiency in optimizing IO performance, developing backup strategies, maintaining detailed records, server system administration, critical thinking skills, communication skills for collaborating with teams, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A degree in B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc., or BCA in Computer Science is required for this role.,
