MandatoryRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled

Linux & Cloud Engineer

with strong expertise in

Linux administration, Azure Cloud, AKS, Ansible, and Terraform

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise Linux environments, automating infrastructure and configurations, and supporting cloud-native workloads on Azure.Key ResponsibilitiesLinux & Unix Systems Administration

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Perform advanced LVM operations including creation, resizing, snapshots, and tuning
• Manage Unix/Solaris environments including patching, service management, and performance monitoring
• Monitor system health, logs, and support capacity planning initiatives
  

Automation & Configuration Management

• Develop and maintain automation workflows using Ansible and Ansible Tower / AWX
• Build reusable playbooks, roles, and templates for provisioning, configuration, and patching
• Automate compliance checks, system baselines, and configuration policies
  

Cloud & DevOps (Azure Focus)

• Manage core Azure services such as:
• Virtual Machines
• Storage Accounts
• Virtual Networks
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Build, optimize, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for deployments and releases
• Administer Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) including:
• Node pool lifecycle management
• Cluster upgrades and patching
• Monitoring (logs and metrics)
• Workload and ingress configuration
  

Infrastructure as Code

• Design and maintain scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Implement best-practice Terraform workflows, reusable modules, and secure state management
  

Operational Support

• Perform routine patching, backups, disaster recovery, and system hardening
• Troubleshoot production issues across on-prem and cloud environments
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and act as an escalation point for critical issues
• Collaborate closely with development, cloud, security, and network teams
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 59 years of hands-on experience in Linux administration
• Strong knowledge of LVM, filesystems, storage, and backup frameworks
• Proficiency in Ansible, Ansible Tower / AWX
• Solid experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps CI/CD
• Hands-on experience managing AKS clusters
• Strong Terraform experience for IaC
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting
• Strong understanding of networking concepts:
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• Routing
• Firewalls
