Linux BSP / QNX Platform Staff Engineer - CE Team

As an Engineer, Staff at Qualcomm India Private Limited, your main responsibility will be to provide direct support to Qualcomm IVI and/or ADAS customers. This involves supporting and resolving issues reported by customers in lab environments, drive tests, and certifications. You will work closely with internal technology teams to perform root cause analysis of customer issues and provide feedback to the engineering team. Your domain-related experience in automotive technologies such as QNX & BSP, audio, connectivity, graphics, display, and video will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for software delivery management, engaging with customers directly, triaging and debugging software failures, and documenting customer issues and requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Provide firsthand support to Qualcomm IVI and/or ADAS customers - Support and resolve issues reported by customers in lab, drive test and certifications - Perform root cause analysis of customer issues and provide feedback to engineering team - Manage software delivery by identifying, verifying, and delivering fixes for software failures - Engage with customers directly for failure reports, new feature requirements, schedule management - Debug software failures reported by customers on Android, Auto grade Linux, QNX software stack - Document customer issues, key features-requirements, design data - Work closely with internal technology teams to support the fix process - Support Qualcomm customers to resolve launch-gating issues Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering - Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineering (Preferred) - 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience, or related work experience with Bachelor's degree - 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience, or related work experience with Master's degree - 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering or Software Development experience, or related work experience with PhD - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - 1+ year of experience with debugging techniques As an equal opportunity employer, Qualcomm is committed to providing an accessible process for individuals with disabilities.
